How It Works
So how does this reading tracking spreadsheet work? There are several different tabs on the spreadsheet that allow you to track your reading:
- Reading Database – The reading database tab allows you to input information about the books you read or own…including title, author, genre, format, publisher information, and lots more! You can easily enter and see multiple details about each book, all in a row.
- TBR List – The TBR List tab offers a place to record your “To Be Read” list in the same place with all your other reading information. You can input details like title and author, date added, and where you heard about each book you want to read.
- Stats – On the Stats page, you can see a list of your reading statistics…which are automatically drawn from the books you input into the reading database. Stats you can see include how many books you’ve read, how many pages you’ve read, how many books you’ve read from each genre, how many books you’ve read in each format (audiobook, ebook, etc.), and more!
- Charts – On the charts page, you’ll see the same information as on the stats page…but in an easy-to-read chart format so you can track your reading statistics at a glance!
