How Much Does Audible Cost for Students?
As of this time, Audible has discontinued their student Audible discount, which means students will pay the same cost for Audible as all other subscribers. Currently, that rate is $7.95 per month for Audible Plus and $14.95 per month for Audible Premium Plus.
Can Students Get a Free Trial of Audible?
Yes, students can get a free trial of Audible! While there is no Audible Premium Plus student-specific free trial, students can still get the general free trial that is available to everyone.

Does Audible have a student discount at certain times throughout the year? There’s no guarantee of when or if there will be a special Amazon Audible student discount or deal, but in the past there have sometimes been special deals at specific times of the year.
If you’re wanting to keep an eye out for a student discount on Audible, you should be especially vigilant around Back to School sales, Prime Day, Black Friday, and the holidays. These are all times when Amazon tends to have either student-specific deals or general deals that are open to everyone.
Are There Other Ways to Get Deals on Audible?
Since Amazon doesn’t currently have an Audible discount code for students, are there other ways for students to get deals on Audible books?
Yes! First of all, Audible occasionally runs sales that bring many audiobooks even below the monthly fee you pay for Audible. Now, you do have to be an Audible subscriber to get these deals, but if you listen to a lot of audiobooks then it can be cheaper to be subscribed to Audible plus get audiobooks on these special sale days rather than paying for extra Audible credits on your subscription plan.
